Job description
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (“CIP”) is expanding its Partner Relations & Incentives team (“PRI”) and looking for a new colleague with excellent skills within employment law to take on the role as HR Legal Counsel.
You will join a group of 7 colleagues in the PRI team who value working together while taking responsibility for their individual areas of expertise. In the role as HR Legal Counsel, you will be supporting both business leaders and employees with tasks and advisory related to employment contracts, HR processes and employment law.

Responsibilities
As HR Legal Counsel in CIP, you get to bring your excellent people and service skills into play and use your fully equipped legal.
Your primary focus areas will be:
You have a strong HR legal mindset and you are comfortable with translating legal matters into meaningful information. When optimizing processes and procedures you use your eye for details to create value for both leaders and employees.
As a strong team player in PRI you will need to be collaborative and good at building trustful relationships. Further, you will have to be good at making decisions and comfortable standing your ground when required. We expect that you like to proactively stay ahead of challenges and adopt a structured approach to keep track of different tasks. Moreover, you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and perform administrative work when required.
- Providing general counselling regarding various aspects of (mainly individual) employment law in Denmark and in relation to CIP’s global offices.
- Becoming a trusted go-to person for CIP’s Danish and international organization in relation to HR legal matters.
- Preparing, amending and managing employment related agreements.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation in relevant jurisdictions and developing and maintaining all contractual templates, policies and procedures.
- Taking responsibility for the development and optimization of the process of employing new colleagues.

Reporting to: Director of Employment Law Daniel Markussen
Location: HQ, Copenhagen
Expected travel: Infrequent
Ideal experience
The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR legal professional that meets the following criteria:
Education: A master’s degree in laws (cand.jur., cand.merc.jur.). Candidates with an international equivalent or other proven proven and solid experience with employment law in an international context may also qualify.
Work experience: A minimum of 4 years of post-graduate experience, preferably from a law firm or a large international company.
HR legal specialization: Solid experience within HR laws & regulations particularly within individual employment law. Experience with or interest in working with international employment set-ups is an advantage.
Language skills: Strong written and oral communication skills in Danish and English and the ability to communicate issues and solutions in a simple and understandable manner.
MS Office: Experienced user of MS Office package including Excel and PowerPoint.
